Gov. Bryant Denies Benefits to Dreamers

By presidential-politics.com
August 27, 2012

Gov. Phil Bryant has issued an Executive Order that prohibits illegal immigrants from receiving public benefits.

This is in response to President Obama's announcement last June that his Administration will allow young illegal immigrants commonly  known as "Dreamers" to apply for temporary legal status and work permits. This action brings immediate relief to as many as 800,000 young people who can meet some basic requirements.

"Dreamers" are those young people who were brought in to the country illegally or overstayed their visas as children.
