To us, "economically progressive policies" are those that would create an economic climate in which the  middle class  that work hard and  play by the rules could  thrive and also in which the poor have opportunities  to climb in to the middle class.

To us "economically progressive policies" do not mean taking  from the rich and giving  to  the poor.  However, expecting the rich to contribute more to develop a fairer society is not taking from the rich and giving to the poor. A fairer society is a better place for everybody. All the money in the world wouldn't mean much if you live in a wretched place.

There have been many governments in this nation under which both the middle class and the rich thrived (two recent were under Presidents Regan and Clinton).

To us, "socially progressive" is to allow  people to lead their lives without interference from Government, be it Federal, State or Local.  Of course, people have to abide by the laws of the land.

On those pages and on our Home Page  we publish  political news and opinions that we believe are relevant to the issues of the day.

When the President and  members of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives take progressive positions on issues that are crucial to the nation, we support them.

We do our best to ensure that all news and other information published in our website are factually accurate.
